Scholarship Program Updates

The Shee Atiká Board of Directors and the Shee Atiká Benefits Trust Board of Trustees have approved several updates to the Scholarship program effective January 1, 2026. 

• Lifetime Maximum – The lifetime maximum has been eliminated.

• Scholarship Deadlines – There have been two additional deadlines added each year to the spring deadline which has been the second Friday in March.  The two additional deadlines will be the second Friday in June and the second Friday in October.  So, for 2026, the deadlines will be:

o   March 13, 2026

o   June 12, 2026

o   October 9, 2026

•        Increased Award Amounts –

o   Academic Scholarships –

§  Undergraduate - From $3,000/year to $4,500/year

§  Graduate – From $3,000/year to $6,000/year

o   Cultural & Heritage –

·        Long Term - From $3,000/year to $4,500/year

·        Short Term – From $850/class to $1,000/class (approved by management)

o   Vocational & Technical – From $3,000/year to $4,000 year

o   Short Term Training – From $850/course to $1,000/course

o   Youth Scholarships – From $500/year to $750/year

Be sure to get your application in at the March deadline if you plan to take classes beginning with the fall semester, 2026.
